In a world of accelerating change and fleeting opportunity, creativity and innovation are critical aspects of every manager’s job. This course focuses on stimulating creative, effective work in entrepreneurial environment, realizing an internal context of leadership, core values, and culture that provide the foundation for innovation, and comprehending the work surrounding an organization.. As innovation shifted into team-centered activities, the highlight of innovation has shifted to value creation and is deservedly gaining momentum in many organizations. More companies are trying harder to understand how to innovate more and faster. From a mixture of book chapters, journal articles, cases, and an online forum, students are required to give further discussion about innovation process under successful or failed conditions. Students will learn through five level of analysis: individual, team, network, organizational, and industry. In addition to cases of diverse domains, the course will employ research summaries, notes, articles from various sources, videos, guests, individual exercises, and work-project.
課程目標 Objectives
