Business diagnosis is a process of working backwards to identify reasons for unsatisfactory performance by making the appropriate links between causes and effects. And, Management consulting is the practice of providing consulting services to organizations to improve their performance or in any way to assist in achieving organizational objectives. This course offer students to identify business problem(s), to collect data from the field, to utilized qualitative and quantitative analysis on your data, and then, to draw conclusions for improving your business operations. This class is taught in small group style with your own case. Cases from manufacturing, marketing, healthcare, finance, strategy planning, and others are all welcomed. 本學期(112-2)課程內容針對企業經營系統的全部或局部,進行客觀性的檢視、分析、評估,找出問題點,並據以研擬改進方案或建議,提供企業經理人參酌改進,以提升企業經營績效,並增加獲利及降低成本之機會。因此,企業分析主要包括:1.綜合診斷(general diagnosis):(1)營運特性診斷,(2)基本管理診斷,(3)管理功能診斷;2.專門診斷(special diagnosis)。而運用10個案研究,課程將逐步重點討論:經營危機、制度危機、倫理危機、安全危機、競爭危機、解決問題的模式、技巧與步驟等面向。接著,企業諮詢則著重於: 1.重點導向與集中處理原則:應置於主要的問題之上。 2.考慮問題之間的互動層面:針對前項關鍵性的問題來探討。 3.分辨癥候與問題根本原因:需要詳細分辨其間的因果關係。 4.注意系統化原則:提供企業經理人參酌改進。 5.重視比較分析機制:以提升企業經營績效。
課程目標 Objectives
Students will be developed with problem solving skills which are widely used for continuous improvement in all industries. Also, students are expected to approach the sound decisions in operations within the complex and uncertain business environment. 本學期(112-2)課程目的在於協助學生培養以下管理能力,包括: 1.偵測內外環境的變化,指出管理實況的癥候及待改善之問題。 2.分析經營問題的根因,檢討經營策略的方向並加以修正。 3.健全整個企業的運作,提高長期財務的收益及企業的利潤。 4.確保整體目標的達成,防範企業危機的發生及控管可預期之風險。 5.達成企業的永續經營,並藉以阻止企業的舞弊及財務風險發生。
授課方式 Teaching methods
Lecturing (including lectures, operations and seminars). 以講授為主。輔助方式:1.個案研究;2.研發作業討論;3.課程實作報告。
