課程目標 Objectives

本課程為中山政研碩士在職專班必修課，幫助有志及早完成論文取得學位的碩一同學，暖身起步。本課程將以時事為起點，帶你發想論文題材及整理文獻，一起探索值得研究的公共議題。學期間將以每個主題兩到三週，向同學介紹政治學及主要次學門的關注內容、教師的研究興趣，以及面對不同議題尋找答案的方法。同學們將與學有專精的老師互動，發崛並逐步聚焦自己的研究興趣，並認識論文寫作、學術倫理、文獻引用流程，並開啟碩士級研究之路。

授課方式 Teaching methods

本課程將以講授為主、研討為輔的方式，以不同次領域所做的研究為例，帶領同學認識如何批判思考，以及著手寫下研究作品。
․ 期末口頭報告（12/19）每人以 15 分鐘為限，需自行挑選一個與政治學相關的主題或議題進行報告。
報告須包含 5 個部分：（1）為什麼挑選這個主題（你在這報告中問的是什麼問題）；（2）介紹主題（這個主題為什麼值得研究與關注）；（3）相關文獻（那些學者討論過這個主題）；（4）打算使用的研究方法。
․ 期末書面報告的內容為將期末口頭報告的內容書面化，請以簡潔扼要的內容與準確的引用格式，回覆期末報告中的 4 個重點。全文雙行間距，以最多 10 頁為限。截止日期為 2023 年 12 月 26 日下午 18:00 整。
․ 關於遠距學習：同學可在學期初申請長時期的遠距出席（同步）課程，但需要配合相關要求（如整學期至少兩次實體參與）並作切結。若無法同步上課者，須回看錄影並另外繳交聽講心得，才得列入出席記錄。臨時性的申請遠距同步上課以一學期最多三次為限。

評分方式﹝評分標準及比例﹞Evaluation (Criteria and ratio)等第制單科成績對照表 letter grading reference

2.期末口頭報告：30%
3.期末書面報告：40%
