本課程目標主要是培養學生基本金融數據分析能力，並應用於財務實證分析議題。在課程中我們著重數據的搜集與分析，並將介紹TEJ資料庫的使用。
The objectives of this course are to develop students' financial data analysis ability and apply on financial empirical issues. In the course, the instructor will ask students to collect financial data for analysis and introduce EXCEL VBA for data preprocessing.
＊本課程沒有期中期末考，評分以課堂表現與作業成績為主。作業主要為專題報告，課堂表現包含口頭報告。本課程較適合修過投資學與財務管理的同學選修，基本的會計報表知識以及統計觀念則是必備的。
This course has no midterm or final exam and will be graded based on class participation and assignments. Assignments are primarily project reports, and class participation includes oral presentations. This course is suitable for students who have studied investments and financial management(corporate finance). Basic knowledge of accounting statements and statistical concepts are essential for talking this course.
