課程目標 Objectives |
|
This course starts with introducing concepts of economic production and growth, money, price level, unemployment, and financial market of an economy, then shows the short-term economic fluctuations and the open economy. Also, government policies and their stabilizing effects on economic activities are introduced, including fiscal policy and monetary policy.

授課方式 Teaching methods |
|
1. The teaching materials will be uploaded onto Cyber University weekly. Please log into your Cyber University account to download the teaching materials and relative information. For the students who haven't registered successfully, please leave your name and student ID number to TA in the chat area, so your request will be considered during the abnormal management period. Lectures, seminars, peer discussion, group discussion, presentation, and game-based learning. 2. This module requires high level of engagement and team work from students. Assessment details will be outlined in first class and will be updated frequently. 3. The assessment includes two written exams, a Project-Based Learning (PBL) and class participation. The first written exam ranges from the lectures in the first class in the semester to the week before the exam. The second written exam covers the contents of the lectures after the first exam and before the final exam. The PBL tests whether the students know how to use basic economic knowledge to answer the real questions in the world.
