With the ageing of population increasing dramatically, maintaining health in old age becomes increasingly important. Successful policies in this area can increase the potential labor force and the supply of non-market services to others. They can also delay the need for long term care for the elderly by preventive strategies. This course discusses all the issues related to long-term care from micro- and macro- perspectives.
