課程介紹、內容分析法、傳播理論與應用、文字探勘基礎知識、關鍵字和字典、情緒分析、共詞分析、主題建模、社會網絡資料的轉換和分析、語義網絡分析等
This course is designed to introduce the methodology of computerized content analysis and its application in communication theory and research. Main topics include basics of text mining, word frequency, keyword identification, dictionary construction, sentiment analysis, concurrence of words, topic modeling and social network analysis of semantic networks.







課程目標 Objectives

         本課程旨在訓練學生使用電腦(R語言和軟體),分析數位化的媒體內容、網友貼文内容等文字資料及其所包含的語意網絡。通過課堂講授演示、個人練習和小組專題等方式,引導學生使用大數據和文字探勘來檢驗和發展行銷傳播學和其他社會科學的重要理論。
This course aims to introduce students the methodology of analyzing text data that retrieved from online media with text mining skills and social network analysis. This class also provides the opportunity for developing a research project that using the text mining skills and social network analysis to test and develop theories in the fields of marketing communication and other social sciences.

         老師課堂講授、演示;個人導讀研究論文,個人課堂練習;小組專題。
This course involves class lectures, computer demonstrations, individual presentation of reading materials, individual in-class exercises and a final group project.
