課程目標 Objectives |
|
This course covers the basics of Behavioral Finance and applies many of its concepts to the management of client-advisor relationship in a Private Banking environment. In particular, we focus on the building of client risk-profile from a behavioral perspective. There are four learning objectives: (1) After this course, students will understand and appreciate the fundamental differences between Classical and Behavioral Finance, including both theoretical and empirical evidences given by real data; (2) After this course, students can analyze and compare the common behavioral biases in information collecting, processing and decision-making processes; (3) After this course, students will gain a comprehensive knowledge on the Private Banking/Wealth Management industry, specifically on the importance of managing a client-advisor relationship; (4) Students will evaluate critically, through a case study, the process of risk-profiling and can modify this approach according to a behavioral finance rationale. 除了以上四個學習目標, 亦希望協助大三大四同學在完成課程後, 從相關的行為財務學理論與實證研究發想專題與碩士論文主題.

1. Lecture (online lecture if necessary) 2. Computer workshops 3. Trading activities 4. Invited talk 本課程為英文授課, 為協助同學能適應英文上課的環境, 在學期初將提供英文學術閱讀與寫作的基礎訓練, 幫助同學吸收課程內容與完成作業, 而在期末報告鼓勵同學使用英文進行發表; 此外課程的講義與內容主題亦配合英文授課做編排與設計, 整體的課程規劃希望能帶給同學在一個近似於國際學術環境的充實學習經驗.
