理性、效率市場,與利潤極大化是當今傳統財務學理論的主要假設。在這個理論框架下的投資人將會依據所有可得的資訊做出理性的決策並追求利潤最大化,而市場將會達成市場效率。
不過,當上述的理論套用在現實世界中時,我們發現市場運作的結果往往跟理論的預期並不一致。傳統的財務理論因而受到挑戰。
在此前提下,「行為財務學」的出現,為真實市場違背傳統財務理論假設的現象提供了解釋。行為財務學是一門結合了財務學以及心理學的新領域,試圖從心理學的角度出發,用「人的不理性」來重新演繹實際市場現象。非完全理性的投資人,其心理因素如何影響財務以及投資決策,進而導致行為悖離傳統財務理論的預期,將是這門課程所要探討的重點。
Rationality, efficient market, and profit maximization are the main assumptions of traditional financial theory. Under this theoretical framework, investors will make rational decisions based on all available information and pursue profit maximization; finally, the market will achieve market efficiency.
However, when applying the above theory to the real world, the realized market is often inconsistent with theoretical expectations. Traditional financial theories thus face challenges.
On this premise, the emergence of "behavioral finance" explains the phenomenon that the actual market violates the assumptions of traditional financial theory. Behavioral finance is a new field combining finance and psychology. It tries to associate the market phenomenon with "human irrationality" from the perspective of psychology. This course will focus on how the psychological factors of investors influence their financial and investment decisions and thus lead to behaviors that deviate from the expectations of traditional theories.


課程目標 Objectives

         本課程將由人的思考系統開始介紹,隨後廣泛探討行為偏誤的主要觀點,最後介紹行為偏誤如何修正傳統財務學的論點並解釋文獻上的財務實證發現。參與課程者不須具備心理學的知識背景,但應具備基本的投資學以及公司理財等相關知識。
The lessons will begin with an introduction to human thinking systems, followed by an extensive discussion of various behavioral biases, and finally, the introduction to how behavioral biases affect traditional financial arguments and better-explain empirical findings in the finance literature. No psychology background is required for students, but basic knowledge of investment and corporate finance is a must.
