課程大綱 Course syllabus |
|
1、人為何遷移?哪些人移出/移入臺灣?遷移者的社會性別/人口特徵為何? 2、「性別」如何關鍵地影響移住/民的移/行動決策,與跨國/生活與適應模式? 3、以國際學生與工作、婚姻移民為例,討論移民者的生命機會與性別之間的關聯。 1. Why do people migrate? Who moves out of/into Taiwan? What are the gender and demographic characteristics of the migrants? 2. How does "gender" critically influence the migration decision-making and transnational life adaptation? 3. Take international students and marriage immigrants in Taiwan as examples to discuss how gender influences immigrants’ life chances.

以移入與移出臺灣的移住/民為例,從性別分析的觀點,讓學生習得性別與遷移的相關理論。學生將透過田野觀察與訪談,從自身經驗與日常生活情境進行反思,理解遷移者的性別如何交織其他相關重要因素,影響其個人的生命機會。 Using examples of immigrants who have migrated into and out of Taiwan, this course helps students learn theories about gender and migration. Students will also reflect on their own personal experiences and social situations through field observations (will there be any field trips?) and interviews to understand why and how gender interweaves with other factors to influence immigrants’ life chances.
