課程大綱 Course syllabus

This course is designed to help doctoral students practice academic writing as well as speaking. Students are required to read assigned texts/articles, prepare presentations/speeches and participate in class discussions as well as research talks. We will be discussing how to analyze journal articles, books, and conference proceedings involving issues in computer and information science. Techniques for preparing for the comprehensive examinations will also be reviewed.

課程目標 Objectives

This course aims to prepare the students for the Ph.D. program and to expose them to the advanced topics in Computer and Information Science research.
