本課程適合與歡迎各年級同學選修。近年來新興市場(例如金磚四國、印尼、菲律賓等國家)在全世界的經濟發展中,扮演非常重要的角色,亦成為許多企業發展的重心,然而企業如何適當管理新興市場成為重要的挑戰,也因如此須對新興市場有完整與深入的認識,如此能清楚瞭解企業於經營新興市場可採用的策略與行動,進而創造競爭優勢。為達成此目標,本課程將著重於運用策略管理的觀點來講解新興市場與國際企業策略的內涵與特性,首先針對新興市場的概念與特性、以及主要新興市場做介紹與分析,並搭配國際企業概念與管理模式輔助說明,且運用個案教學與遊戲教學方式(例如Kahoot與樂高模擬等模式),來讓修課同學增進對於新興市場之本質與可運用的策略思維之認識與瞭解。 Emerging markets, e.g. BRICS, play an important role in today’s economy. Firms (especially MNCs) should take the features and importance of emerging markets into account in designing and implementing their international business strategies. To deepen the understanding of emerging markets, this course is designed to explore the nature of emerging markets. It consists of three parts. Firstly, insights into emerging markets are introduced. Secondly, approaches and strategies for analysing emerging markets are elaborated. Thirdly, a number of emerging markets are analysed and presented.

Upon completion of this course, students will have a good understanding of emerging markets and international business management.

授課方式 Teaching methods |
|
The lecturer will emphasize explaining the ideas and concepts relating to emerging markets. During the class, the lecturer will present some questions for group discussion. Each student should share his/her thoughts with other students within the group. The lecturer will then open the discussion. Each group should share ideas with other groups.
