Personal risk management, insurance product pricing, introductions to insurance products, and so on.

課程目標 Objectives

         The students have basic concepts of insurance products, personal risk management, and insurance and pension planning such that they can make appropriate insurance and pension plans according to their needs.

授課方式 Teaching methods

         1. Classes are mainly lecture-based, and the students are often asked to answer questions in class.
2. The students have to present their term paper in class.
3. The term paper includes an oral presentation and a soft copy. The followings are the instructions for the term paper:
(1) Each student must participate in the term paper. Each term paper is developed and edited by a group of up to five students.
(2) The data of the term paper must be true. If the forged data or plagiarism is found, each of the team member will get zero point in the term paper.
(3) Please do not think that you will certainly get high grades on the term paper. If the requirements are not met, you may still get a bad score on the term paper.
(4) In the oral presentation, the instructor will specify the order of the members of each team. The members in one team may receive different scores on the term paper, depending on the presentation performance.
