課程大綱 Course syllabus

This course is interdisciplinary and will cover the theories and practices of macroeconomics. We will integrate the knowledge and practices including business cyclical, the inflation, the unemployment, monetary policy, the federal reserve system, government spending and its financing. The IS-LM model and AD-AS model will be introduced as well. Students successfully completing this course will be familiar with the current practices of macroeconomics and have the capability to conduct empirical research.

課程目標 Objectives

This course will introduce the advanced concepts of macroeconomics via the example of real world. Students will learn to apply the framework of macroeconomics to understand how the world works. This course will enable students to analysis how the decisions of the daily life been made by the government. Lastly, students will be trained to improve their logic to criticize if the government’s decision is appropriate.
