Organizational Theory and Management is a fundamental course in the field of management. The concept of “Organization” involves not only “hard” elements such as structure and rules/regulations but also “soft” elements such as human and interpersonal concerns. Moreover, “Organizational Design” is a strategic rather than an operational issue only. As a result, participants should remain a flexible mindset in order to learn more from this course
•This course intends to balance theories and practices. It highlights the practical implications of organizational theories in order for participants to understand the operational logics and success/failure factors of various organizations. Participants will know the principles/rules of organizational design and some important issues such as culture, learning, innovation, politics, and change etc. from this course.

課程目標 Objectives

         1. Help participants understand the core concepts of organizational theories and their implications
2. Help participants understand the fundamental logics and principles of organizational design and operation.
3. Advance participants’ capabilities in leading organizational renewal and transformation in the future.

授課方式 Teaching methods

This course expects to advance participants’ way-of-thinking and skills through lecture, issue discussions, video watching, group presentation and assignments, and experience sharing.
