質化研究強調對於社會現象之深刻理解。本課程著重於介紹質化研究的背後邏輯與由該邏輯所發展出來的研究設計、資料蒐集、分析及寫作技巧。本課程並希冀透過課堂知識傳授、作業實作及討論交流,培養學生運用質化途徑從事社會科學研究之基礎能力。
Qualitative research emphasizes the deep understanding of social phenomenon. This course focuses on introducing the underlying assumptions of qualitative research and related research design, data collection, analysis and writing skills. By means of lectures, practices, and discussions, this course intends to cultivate students’ basic capacity of using qualitative approaches to conduct social science research.





課程目標 Objectives

         1.讓學生理解質化研究之基本理論、假設及途徑
Let students understand fundamental theories, assumptions, and approaches of qualitative research.
2.讓學生掌握及利用質化研究設計、蒐集資料、分析及寫作等技巧
Let students apprehend and employ research design, data collection, analysis and writing skills of qualitative research.
3.讓學生習得運用質化研究撰寫論文須注意之實際議題
Let students learn practical issues related to using qualitative research in thesis writing.






授課方式 Teaching methods

         本課程將運用下列三種授課方式:
1.第一部分: 課堂講授及同學導讀
2.第二部分: 課程實作 (資料蒐集、分析及寫作練習)
3.第三部分: 分組及綜合討論
This course uses three types of teaching: (1) lecture and student presentation; (2) practices (data collection, analysis, and writing); (3) group and class discussion.
