This course has two parts: Corporate social responsibility (CSR) and ethics. In the CSR part, we will not only just talk concepts and cases, but also provide you an opportunity to develop a solution for a global challenge which is commercially feasible and can also benefit stakeholders of your possible business. Through this process, we seek to give you experience in business innovation for flourishing enterprises (a business should create well-being, happiness and wholeness). Therefore, students joining this course will be asked to participate Hult Prize Competition in NSYSU. In the ethics part, we will discuss not only the basic ideas of ethics, but focus more on land ethic, a moral responsibility of humans to the natural world, because Taiwanese companies have harmed our islands too much. We will also discuss work ethics and cases that you possibly face in workplaces in the future. Your grade will be based on a group project and assignments. The grading of the group project will depend on your performance in the Hult Prize Competition, and how your team members evaluate your contributions in the competition. Assignments will be distributed after lectures of land ethic and work ethic.

1. Lectures, discussion, and action learning 2. For distance learning in the first week or foreign students who have to use distance learning during quarantine, we will send a link to you by the TA.
