課程大綱 Course syllabus

 
從「人、知識與歷史」的關係，探索西方觀念史(history of ideas)與當代科學哲學論述，進而批判性地檢視現代社會科學之所以朝向自然主義發展的思想背景及其哲學基礎。

培養學生有關社會科學之哲學議題與歷史發展的統整能力。
　　　　　　　　

授課方式 Teaching methods

 
本課程主要以討論的方式進行。參與者需要在課前閱讀指定材料。每週會有參與者對於課程內容進行口頭報告，整理當週閱讀材料的主題與論點，並且提出自己的觀點和批評。藉此培養掌握文本、重構思想、撰寫學術文章等必要的基礎能力。
․	閱讀材料摘要：每次課堂前需先閱讀指定教材並撰寫摘要（3-5頁）。摘要應包含以下內容：（1）整理作者的主要觀點，並以自己的話語重新表述；（2）以學術引用格式標示出處。繳交時間為每週上課前（週二）18：00。
․	期中口頭報告：需自行挑選一個與課程相關的議題自行撰寫研究計畫（4-5頁），並在課堂上口頭報告（每人10-15分鐘）。報告內容必須包含四部分：（1）研究動機；（2）所要研究的問題和政治理論重要問題的關連性；（3）既有的研究成果與其不足之處；（4）預期的結果。
․	期末口頭報告：在期中報告的基礎上進行修改，或另外選擇新題目，自行撰寫研究計畫，並在課堂上口頭報告。報告內容和要求同期中報告。
․	期末書面報告：將兩次口頭報告的研究計畫撰寫成為完整的學術論文，需要完全符合學術格式。截止日期為下學期開學當日18:00整。
