課程目標 Objectives

本課程帶領同學領會如何透過操作經驗資料收集和分析的過程來求真。本課程將透過問卷設計、網調資料收集、帶領同學學到如何使用資料科學的工具（R & RStudio）進行資料分析，讓同學充份理解經驗研究中學會如何精準發問、敢於使用資料分析挑戰權威，以及透過資料探索發展理論與假設的素養。本課程訓練同學以專案的方式實作，學會分析調查資料的基本技能。有興趣使用R繼續深化民調資料分析的同學，下學期請續修3學分的《民意與政治行為研究》或暑期1學分的課程《厚資料與意義探勘》。若有興趣進一步應用R於文字探勘或文本分析，則可以續修3學分的《社群資料分析》或《政治文本分析》。若對於Python的在文字探勘上有興趣，則可以選修3學分的《大數據與選舉》與《政治與資訊》課程。這些跨社科與管理學院的3學分課程組成了「政經大數據分析」微學程。修過其中的三門課（含本課程）則會獲得畢業證書上取得此微學程的加註。
