This course is designed to generate awareness and appreciation of the way many substantive topics have been studied using various research methodologies. We will focus our attention on empirical papers analyzing survey, sales-related, crawled, and field experimental data. Ultimately, this class aims to help students appreciate and critique on-going research in recent trend topics and in turn to prepare students to write quality papers in accordance with the major streams.
