課程大綱 Course syllabus

         The health system faces critical challenges. Aging population is increasing. Most of elderly persons have multiple chronic diseases. This leads to increased burdens of health care delivery system. Not enough health care providers in specific specialties bring additional problems. Global budget program limits resource allocations of hospitals. Financial stress from policy changes is also increased which affects management of health care facilities. Ethics issues face critical challenge. It is necessary for Doctoral students to understand and discuss these important issues. This seminal aims to provide opportunities and communication platform for Doctorial students to share their thoughts and find feasible solutions for the essential health care management and ethics topics. The seminar has serial of four courses. This is course one.

課程目標 Objectives

         After taking this course, students are expected to:
1. Familiar with important health care management issues;
2. Learn critical research approaches of various research topics;
3. Prepare potential dissertation proposals;
4. Understand essential ethic issues in health care.
