Employee performance appraisal and management is an issue critical to human resource management in organizations. This course is designed to help students understand the performance appraisal and management system, with the goal of helping students apply it in the future workplace and become HR professionals. The course content will proceed to include the following domains:
1. foundations and implications of performance appraisal and management;
2. performance management process;
3. collection of performance information;
4. selection of performance appraisal approach;
5. design, implementation, and evaluation of performance management system;
6. skills and techniques necessary to improve employee performance.





課程目標 Objectives

         Upon completion of the course, students will:
- Understand the fundamentals of performance management (PM) system and process;
- Learn how to design, develop, and implement PM system to improve employee performance;
- Learn the skills and techniques necessary to develop employee performance.





授課方式 Teaching methods

         1. Lecture;
2. Reading scholarly journal articles.
以教師講授為主, 並搭配期刊文獻閱讀與討論。
