課程大綱 Course syllabus

The objective of this course is to learn how to design your research. The course will take you from foundations to various research designs. These include cross-sectional and longitudinal studies, quantitative and qualitative research, as well as experimental, survey, field, quasi-experimental studies, etc. in the management realm.
本課程是針對研究方法學裡面的研究設計,目標是學會如何設計適合研究問題的研究方法。本課程將透過學習,奠定管理學界上常用的不同之研究設計。這些包括橫斷式研究法、縱貫研究法、量化和質化研究法,實驗法、類實驗法、問卷調查法、田野調查等等的介紹和學習。


課程目標 Objectives

         The specific learning objectives include the following:
1) Explore the methodological issues in managerial research
2) Understand scientific research and casual inference
3) Define a research problem and develop testable hypotheses
4) Critique current managerial research in terms of reliability, validity, strengths and weaknesses.
5) Design your own research
具體的目標涵蓋:
(1)探討管理研究上的方法論
(2)瞭解科學的研究和因果關係
(3)能夠學會透過信效度、測量的客觀性,批判管理文章的優缺點。
(4)有能力分析及設計研究。
