課程目標 Objectives

本課程的目標是讓同學熟稔常用到的資料庫理論並學會將之應用於實務上的資料庫設計和資料庫應用系統開發。本課成為研究所課程，內容包括基本的資料庫概念和較進階的課題，比如查詢處理、交易管理、XML和BigTable。
The objective of this course is to equip the students with database theories and practical skills. Topics that will be covered include some basic concepts/skills such as ER Model, Relational Model, and SQL, as well as more advanced concepts/skills such as query/transaction processing, XML databases, and NoSQL.
