課程目標 Objectives |
|
In recent years, Taiwan is plagued with the problem of declining birthrate. Hence, the Taiwan government launched the New Southward Policy to encourage citizens having regional social and economic cooperation with countries in Southeast Asia, South Asia, and the South Pacific. At the same time, because of the instability of Hong Kong's political and economic environment, the number of Hong Kong emigrants to Taiwan is rising rapidly in recent years, and this has become a hot topic. Under this circumstance, the relation between Taiwanese and Hongkongers have become closer, which is very important to the development of Taiwan’s tourism and trade industries. The aim of this course is to enhance students’ ability to communicate with business partners from Hong Kong and other Cantonese speaking countries through learning basic Hongkongese language and Hong Kong and/or Macau culture.
