日本自2014年開始將地方創生政策視為國家戰略層級，希望帶動青年人口返鄉，創造經濟或商業發展模式。藉由地方政府、企業單位和社群組織的共同合作，找尋地方再生發展新未來。因此，本課程期望開拓學生學習視野，透過現地教學，啟發思考台灣地方創生的無限可能。本課程綱要說明如下：
1.結合課程參訪見學，了解地方創生實際推動經驗。
2.與實務經驗工作者交流，讓學生認識地方發展所面臨的挑戰。
3.藉由課程研討激發學生對於地方發展議題的論述、思辨能力與行動。

課程目標 Objectives
　　　　　　　　 研討主題為「國際地方創生實務見學」。地方創生是為了解決偏鄉地區因為人口老化、人口過度集中都市及城鄉差距問題，避免地方生活圈逐漸消逝。本課程希望培養學生探討地方創生發展議題，並透過國內外實地參訪，帶領學生走出教室，實際進行場域教學。
