課程目標 Objectives |
|
The purpose of this course is to help students understand cultural and institutional environment in the Asia pacific region. This course focuses on South Korea, China, Taiwan and Japan as exemplars of the commercial, developmental and political practices in the region. For example, you will learn institutions such as the Korean chaebol and key cultural mores such as Chinese guanxi. This course will also provide an overview of the challenges and opportunities for foreign company to penetrate the Asia Pacific region including ASEAN and the Australian Markets. Because this is a special field without any textbook with good coverage of core content, we will use materials that are interesting, relevant, and academically rigorous from all kinds of publications. This course requires no prior knowledge; any economic theory or other concepts will be taught within the curriculum.
