I. An overview of isotopes II. Stable isotope fractionation and related calculation III. Analysis of stable isotopes IV. Stable isotope mixing and related calculation V. Stable isotope labeling and related calculation VI. Application of stable C, H, O, N, and S isotopes in geosciences and environmental sciences

I. To introduce the principles of stable isotopes and related calculation II. To introduce the analysis and application of stable C, H, O, N, and S isotopes

Week 1 to Week 11: lectures, student presentation of papers, and homework Week 13 to Week 18: student presentation of book chapters and papers Note: The lectures will be given in English. Students will be asked to bring their laptops to the class to perform the calculation assignments.
