Business Management is an evolving yet fundamental course. “Introduction to Business” is a core course for students who are pursuing Business and Management-related degrees. This course is designed to introduce the business management concepts, contexts, and strategies in terms of motivating and preparing future managers to grasp the new realities in the modern world. Through innovative teaching approaches, such as interactive videos, class discussion and activities, debate competition, forum, case study analyses, and business management practices, this course provides you with the knowledge about the theoretical and managerial implications of business management, in order to enhance your problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills.

1. To understand the theoretical concepts, tools and frameworks that can be used to execute strategic analyses on business management 2. To comprehend the co-evolving relationships between business management (strategy developments and operations) and its external contexts (cultures, institutional frameworks, economic developments, and competitive environments) 3. To inspire you to think globally and to enable you to ask critical, theoretically grounded and practically useful questions on the reflections and new phenomenon of business management
