課程目標 Objectives |

培養學生了解 (1)主要的媒介元素,包含了媒介技術、媒介產業、媒介內容及媒介使用者 (2)主要的媒介研究典範包括美國與歐陸傳播研究的特色和比較 (3)主要的傳播理論包括多級傳播、說服理論、守門人理論、使用與滿足、議題設定、議題建構、涵化理論、文化指標研究、知溝理論、沈默螺旋、批判理論和文化研究。 此外,本課還提供機會,幫助學生發展出一個具有最低發表水準的研究計畫,可能作為日後碩士論文的基礎。 This course aims to introduce students media power in terms of manipulation of ideology, the construction of news, controlling media orientation toward public service or personal entertainment, and the decline of national public, and acquaint them the crucial problems or issues confronting the media today, including ethnicity, gender, community, saturation, fluidity and loss of meaning. This class also provides the opportunity for developing a research proposal that may be the basis of a master’s thesis at a later date.

講授為主,討論為輔 、結合個人導讀報告和小組期末研究計畫。 This course involves class lectures, discussion of reading memos, individual presentation of reading materials, and a final group project. ★★注意事項★★ 1. 本課程設有「課堂參與成績獎勵制度」,將於第一次上課時進行說明,請儘量勿缺席。 2. 授課進度得依實際情況彈性調整。 3. 第一週上課將採 Google Meet 進行同步遠距課程,已選課學生請於以下連結進入: https://meet.google.com/aid-awpy-sqm 4. 相關資料置於本校網路大學,請至本校圖資處首頁網路大學登入。輸入選課系統帳密登入課程下戴教學簡報及參考資料檔案。 非選課學生擬旁聽者,請於前述連結登入,並於留言區留下學號姓名,以做為異常處理之參考。
