This course aims to accomplish two main objectives: The primary objective is to assist students in acquiring fundamental accounting knowledge and using what they have learned to solve real-world challenges. The second objective is to develop students' abilities in logical analysis, critical thinking, self-directed learning, effective communication, and clear presentation through the learning process. This course lays the groundwork for students' future careers.
Accounting I is an intensive introduction to the preparation and interpretation of financial information for investors (external users) and managers (internal users) and the use of financial instruments to support system and project creation. This course adopts a decision-maker perspective on accounting and finance to help students develop a framework for understanding financial, managerial, and tax reports.

課程目標 Objectives

         Learning Outcomes,
The objectives of this course are to develop:
Demonstrate an understanding of accrual accounting principles.
Describe how basic business economic events affect accounts and financial statements.
Interpret and analyze financial statements to aid in decision-making.
Use the accounting cycle to develop financial statements from business transactions.
Demonstrate an understanding of internal control principles and apply them to relatively straightforward situations to identify strengths and weaknesses.
Describe the purpose of accounting and explain its role in business and society.
Demonstrate an understanding of inventory, receivables, long-lived assets, liabilities, and stockholder's equity and recommend appropriate accounting treatment.
