組織理論與管理為人力資源管理領域的基礎課程。作為基礎入門學科，此門課程將介紹組織管理相關的基礎理論。學習組織管理的前提概念是將組織視為一個個體，本課程將逐步介紹組織在面對外部環境與內部環境的管理策略。
本課程主要以溫金豐教授的著作《組織理論與管理》作為主要教材，並整合Daft 教授的著作《組織理論與設計》作為輔助內容，讓大家對組織理論有一個更全面性的觀點學習。由於組織所面臨到的問題會隨著時代背景和環境而變動，理論並非全然適用於說明任何一種案例，因此除了教科書的內容之外，本課程將搭配與組織管理議題相關的cases，透過課堂討論的方式，讓大家能去反思書本中的知識，將理論知識活用於實務情境中。
