This course aims to improve students’ writing and presentation skills. Classroom activities include exercises, lectures, group discussions, and student presentations. Most exercises involve classroom and take-home components.

課程目標 Objectives

         1. Improved ability to write academic articles and term papers in English
2. Improved ability to write accessible practitioner-oriented reports in English
3. Improved ability to present papers to scholars, students and practitioners
4. Familiarity with academic standards regarding plagiarism and referencing
5. Familiarity with the role of outlines and bullet points as preparatory tools
6. Ability to write effective academic CVs
