因應疫情之故,本課程從9/23(週四)開學日起就要實施遠距教學,直至可以實體教學為止。

本課程旨在探索「道德經」在管理上的內函和應用,例如策略原理、經營管理、處世常理等,故以「老子兵法」稱之。
萬事難料而且多變,都是因為一正一反的作用所產生,例如利害相因,禍福相依等等。成敗興衰是很複雜的故事,說不清楚,都是因為正反相生的格局所致。但是,也正因為混沌模糊,故有兵法藝術出入其中的空間。
所幸,老子有言:「道生萬物。」亦即,萬事萬物皆從道而生出,必須遵從道之理。道既為一切事物的宗主,欲知處世的方法,包括策略、管理、治理等原理和法則,只有學習道之理、道之德,才能參知一二。
資本主義病了,西方所引領的經濟管理方法面臨深刻挑戰。管理的出路究何指歸?
所謂「為無為,則無不治。」也就是說,人豈需自作主張的要有什麼做為?人只要順乎一正一反的自然法則去做人、處事、管理,就沒有治理不好的事物。因此, 問題在,什麼是一正一反?正反之間有什麼規律和原理?如何遵循一正一反去做事?這就是本課程的宗旨之所在。
This course aims to explicate and expose what principles or theories "Tao-Teh Jins" can convey to the areas of management practice, strategy making, and life living. In such an ever-changing and unpredictable world which is replete with uncertainties and causal ambiguities, can anyone make clear the causes of success and failure, for an individual or for an enterprise?
Fortunately, Lao-Zi, the author of "Tao-Teh Jing", said: "Tao gives birth to everything." Namely, all things, natural or social, come from Tao. Thus, if we want to learn how to conduct such things as management, strategy making, and governance, which are also born by Tao, we had better study them from a perspective in compliance with the way of Tao, as well as the morality principles in Tao, which lead to the rearing, nurturing, and upbringing of all things.
As capitalism is causing illness to the world and rendering devastating lesson to the mankind, the Western school of economic and management thoughts is also facing essential challenges. What indeed is the way for management to head for?
"Practice in a no-do way, then everything will be well managed." As taught by this well-known saying, we don't need to advocate our ways of doing things. All we need to do is to observe and follow the principle of thesis-antithesis in the practices of our daily life activities and the management of our enterprise, then all things will be well managed.
As a result, the gist is what is the thesis-antithesis principle? What theories are with the principle? And, how to embed the theories in our practices in daily living, in strategy making, and in managing our enterprise? That is the key content this course intends to impart to the class.














課程目標 Objectives

         本課程的教學目標如下:
(1)闡明無為之理在遵循一正一反的自然法則而行。不是消極、不做為。「為無為,則無不治」是本課程的標竿目標
(2)觀察一正一反的存在
(3)說明「反者,道之動」的道理────策略方法就在相反的那一方,要往相反的方向去尋找
說明「弱者,道之用」的道理────道的作用,雖是柔弱。但做人處事能守柔,才是真強。柔弱才能勝過剛強。
(4)闡明「守中」的重要性────中是什麼?中在哪裡?為什麼中是天下的大本?這是管理的根本關鍵。
(5)闡揚建立「一」的道理────萬事萬物得一,就會成功,否則就會失敗。這是擬定策略的關鍵思路。
(6)體會「靜」的力量───安靜就是力量。安靜提供修復的能量、反敗為勝的翻轉力、走遠路的持續力
(7)領略「減少慾望」的妙處────慾望雖帶來物質文明的進步,減少慾望才是平安幸福的方法
(8)發現「簡」的威力────簡單才能推得廣、比人早、周轉高、速度快
(9)修養「慈」的性格────人能慈,才能保護自己,才能真勇敢
(10)看清天下無大事────大事都由小處決定,能看清這個道理的才是聰明人
The objectives of the course are as follow:
(1) To explicate what is truly meant by the "no-do", which is as denoted in the above as following the natural law of "thesis-antithesis", but not as what most people mistake it to be, doing nothing, passively, or inactively, etc. This is the most intended part of the content the course aims for the audience.
(2)To observe the existence of the natural law of "thesis-antithesis"
(3)To illuminate the theories of "The opposite is the way Tao moves."---Strategies lies in the opposite side. Find out the method from the opposite side.
To illuminate the theories of "The weak way is the way Tao adopts."---Keep the soft and the weak element within. That is how one becomes truly firm and strong. The soft and weak will surmount the firm and strong.
(4)To explicate the importance of maintaining the centrality----What is the centrality? Where is the centrality? Why is it that the centrality is fundamental to the world? This is the key to management.
(5)To advocate the theory of building up the oneness----All things succeed due to obtaining the oneness but fail because of losing the oneness. This is the decisive thinking in crafting a strategy.
(6)To appreciate the power of being serene----Being serene makes one powerful. It supplies one with the power to recover, with the power to resurrect and to return from failure, with the power to go a long way.
(7)To have a heart-felt understanding of the wonderfulness of lessening one's desire---While desire is the drive for the prosperity of civilization, a human finds his true happiness and peacefulness by lessening his desire.
(8)To discover the mightiness of simplicity---Simplicity makes one farther, quicker, earlier, higher turn-around rate.
(9)To cultivate a merciful character---- Being merciful is the best way to
defend oneself. Mercy is what makes one brave.
(10)To truly understand that there is no such concept as big thing----Every so-called big thing is determined by and at the small things. Those who can capture the savvy of it are truly the wise man.
