課程目標 Objectives

         After completing this course, you should become familiar with the major concepts of organization theories, and the issues managers encounter within organizations. Through studying various organization theories, you develop an understanding of
(1) the principles of organization structure and design,
(2) the impact of environment, strategy, technology, organizational culture, change, and organizational size on organizational and inter-organizational relationships,
(3) the decision-making hierarchies, bureaucracy, power, and politics within organizations, and (4) the complex issues faced by managers in the area of globalization and social responsibility in organizational development. Through case discussion, you will be able to identify the key challenges faced by managers and deal with the challenges with principles, practices, and models learned from the class.
