在競爭激烈的科技市場中,台灣的產業從早期的傳統代工製造成本優勢,漸漸累積台灣品牌、通路、產品創新和行銷的整合優勢,「科技管理」在台灣產業轉型扮演的重要角色,亦為企業在競爭激烈的全球市場上增加其競爭力的重要手段之一。本課程將以觀念的講授、課堂討論、個案引導分析進行,進而讓學生以思考、互動與表達的方式,對「科技管理」有進一步的了解。科技管理課程會從不同角度來探討科技創新對國家競爭力、產業發展及企業經營之影響。課程主題包科技管理概念、技術資源、技術能力、科技環境、科技產業分析、技術策略、研發管理、科技創新及技術移轉等。課程並預計邀請專家演講,以強化理論與實務之連結。
Management of Technology (MOT) has become the core discipline for students’ future career and advanced studies. This course offers students basic understanding of MOT. The focuses of this course are how science is transformed to technology, how technology is developed to products, how products meet market demands, and how companies use their competence to develop new technologies and new markets.

         1.讓學生理解科技管理的意義。To learn the importance of MOT
2.讓學生理解科技管理的理論背景與知識架構。To understand the theoretical background of MOT
3.讓學生認識科技產業的最新議題與趨勢。To follow the trend and new issues in technology-oriented industries
