本課程將採取個案教學的授課方式,透過同學的個案閱讀、小組討論、課堂討論,深入瞭解當前組織與職場管理的性別課題,以及適當的管理策略與作法。涵蓋主題包括性別化分工、性別歧視、懷孕歧視、玻璃天花板、樣板效應、女性領導、組織內戀情、職場性騷擾、家庭與工作平衡、性取向、多元化管理等。 This course (taught in Mandarin Chinese) will use the Case Method approach to structure topics related to gender and management. Through class discussion and supporting lectures, students are expected to have better understanding about emerging gender issues or challenges in organizations and workplace, as well as good responses to them as managers. The topics covered in this course include: gendered division of labor, gender discrimination, glass ceiling, tokenism, women and leadership, organization romance and sexual harassment, work life balance, gender diversity in the workplace, etc.

• 引導同學熟悉性別與管理領域的基本課題與辯論。 • 培力學生對於性別與多元化平等的思辨能力。 • 養成同學參與公共討論與發言的勇氣與能力。 Familiarize students with emerging gender issues in organizations and management. Equip students with critical thinking capacity about gender equality. Introduce the Case Method approach to the students for designing on-the-job training in the future.

授課方式 Teaching methods |
|
本課程將採取「個案教學法」之精神,強調課堂參與及討論,因此修課同學需有心理準備上課應主動或接到點名發言,課堂參與及發言內容均將列入成績計算。同學上課前應閱讀當週主題或個案,課堂上回答老師之提問。每位同學有固定座位與名牌,以記錄發言和課堂參與。期末同學將分組撰寫一個個案並帶領同學討論。 A real-world situation (a case) will be provided at each session, and active participation and discussion from the students is expected. The teacher will provide supportive lectures after the case discussion. Each and every student is also expected to provide a case and facilitate class discussion at the end of the semester.
