課程大綱 Course syllabus

This course is interdisciplinary and will cover the theories and practices of general management for business organizations. We will integrate the knowledge and practices including operations, supply chain, marketing, and strategy management. The evaluation of firms will be introduced as well. Students successfully completing this course will be familiar with the main current practices of corporate management and have the capability to conduct empirical research.





課程目標 Objectives

         This course will introduce the basic concepts of general management and business evaluation via financial statement. Students will learn the main current practices and research of general management, especially for operations, supply chain, marketing, and strategy management. This course will enable students to utilize Microsoft Excel to conduct empirical data analysis. Lastly, students will be trained to improve their communication skills via in-class discussions and group presentations.

         Lecture and case discussions
*It is strongly suggested that students who take this course need to have basic knowledge of financial statement.
*Several articles or papers written in English will be assigned for class discussion.
