Organizational behavior (OB) is a field of study that investigates the impact individuals, groups, and structure have on behavior within organizations and how the behavior affects an organization’s performance. This course provides an overview of the theories and concepts in the field of OB. During the semester, we will explore topics such as attitudes and job satisfaction, work motivation, leadership, teams and groups, affect and emotions, workplace stress, conflict and negotiation, and perceptions and individual decision making. This course will help students develop the essential knowledge and skills needed for navigating through their career as well as prepare them for their future role as a manager in an organization.

Goal #1: Gain content knowledge relevant to the field of organizational behavior (OB) Goal #2: Learn to apply OB theories and research to “real” world context Goal #3: Learn to use scientifically sound methods to examine the “people” issue in an organization
授課方式 Teaching methods
The method of study for this course will include a combination of textbook, lecture, class discussion, and hand-on experience to help students learn knowledge related to organizational behavior and strengthen students’ ability to apply knowledge and theories.
