課程大綱 Course syllabus

本課程教學大綱已提供完整英文資訊(本選項僅供統計使用,未提供完整英文資訊者,得免勾記)【Provide information of course syllabus in English.(This is for statistical use only. For those who do not provide information of course syllabus in English, do not check this field.)】

The course, strategic management, is totally toughed by English, the target is master students, and/or students in bachelor or in PhD degree. It aims to introduce a basic concept in the field. In other words, rather than cooperating, competing is the main stream of the discipline.
Please pay three extra attentions here,
First of all, you have two times to absence the course, excludes final presentation. As an adult, you have to be responsible of what you did. So, once you absenced twice, you will be failed, no excuse. The policy is to manage and control the course in efficiency way. This is the basic logic of modern management science.
Second, rather than giving lesson by the instructor, he plays as a supporting role in the course. The aim is to provide theoretical thinking, motivating you to finish the course. The instructor will not and cannot give you a correct answer but finding answer by class interaction is necessary.
Finally, the instructor will not manipulate your mark, but you can. Your behaviors and decisions will decide your how many marks you get in the end.

課程目標 Objectives

The textbook is published by Hill, Schilling, and Jones. It helps the students understand basic idea and concepts. To achieve the goal, each class will be divided two parts. Once you decide to select this course, each student has to email your background in a file, email to William before 5 Mar, 2018. The file should include your name, your education background (such as your major in Bachler degree), your self-introduction. The background information should be included in one page. Dividing group in the course is necessary. In the beginning, the students are able to form a group by your own. However, to exchange and share different ideas in the class, the instructor has the right to 're-grouping'.

授課方式 Teaching methods
