本課程以嚴謹理論模型分析經濟成長率、物價上漲率、利率、匯率及國際收支等總體經濟現象。總體經濟因素影響所有金融資產的價格，也影響各種產業景氣的波動。例如利率受物價膨脹的影響，股市受經濟循環及利率的影響，航運業景氣受經濟循環影響。未來有興趣從事金融或投資領域，或者要讀研究所者，選修本課程有益

課程目標 Objectives

本課程是植基於基礎經濟學的中級課程，對經濟成長率、物價上漲率、利率、匯率及國際收支等總體經濟現象作進一步的分析，理論模型佔相當份量，希望同學有能力對總體經濟作嚴謹的分析及判斷。是會當人的選修課，不誠勿試。

授課方式 Teaching methods

講授。修本課程須先修過經濟學(一)(二)及格。限大三以上選修

評分方式﹝評分標準及比例﹞Evaluation (Criteria and ratio)等第制單科成績對照表 letter grading reference

1.期中考：35%
2.期末考：35%
3.作業：30%
