國際企業學為一著重與時俱進的學科,跨國企業經營管理是學生所需要了解與學習的一門重要的核心基礎課程。近年來我們持續看見了產品、服務、資金、知識技術和人們在國際間流動,因為國際貿易的昌盛、便捷的溝通管道和科技的進步促使與加速企業的國際化進程。本課程設計將以介紹國際企業的基本概念、投資區位與國際化策略為主。 “Management in a cross-cultural environment” is an evolving yet fundamental course. There are new realities in international business that are critical for today’s students to embrace. We are witnessing remarkable changes in the cross-border flow of products, services, capital, ideas, and people. Today’s volume of international trade, ease of communication and travel, and technological advances compel, and help, large and small firms to internationalise. This course is designed to introduce the international business concepts, contexts, and strategies in terms of motivating and preparing future managers to grasp these new realities.
課程目標 Objectives
1. 了解跨國企業策略分析流程,並應用課堂所學之理論模型與分析工具評論相關時事 2. 判斷國內與國際市場的差異性、評估國際市場機會與建立國際化策略,理解不同文化、制度與經濟發展、競爭環境對於企業進入國際市場與實際運作面的影響 3. 討論國際化的反思與新現象,透過理論與實務並重之課程訓練激發學生國際性的思維與獨立思考之能力 1. To understand the theoretical concepts, tools and frameworks that can be used to execute strategic analyses on international businesses 2. To comprehend how different cultures, institutional frameworks, economic developments, and competitive environments influence foreign entry mode choices and international operations 3. To inspire students to think globally and to enable them to ask critical, theoretically grounded and practically useful questions on the reflections and new phenomenon of internationalisation strategy
授課方式 Teaching methods
透過多樣化的課程設計與學習歷程,例如:影片啟發、課程討論/活動、辯論競賽、跨國專案合作、角色扮演與個案分析等,此課程提供理論與實務並重的專業知識,增進學生問題解決、分析與團隊合作的能力,激勵和塑造學生成為未來的跨國企業管理者。 Through innovative teaching approaches, such as interactive videos, class discussion and activities, debate competition, cross-border collaborative projects, role-playing, and case study analyses, this course provides students with the knowledge about the theoretical and managerial implications of international business management, in order to enhance their problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills.
