課程大綱 Course syllabus

This course consists of two themes: First, students will be exposed to reading, listening and speaking drills from the textbook, as well as writing exercises from the handouts. To further apply business English writing guidelines, students will be familiarized with job search skills, including resumes, cover letters, and thank-you notes. Second, students will be guided to develop a presentation to introduce a publicly-traded US company of their own choice. Besides, several business news reports and articles will be integrated as reading supplements to acquaint students with some current business issues.

You will be equipped with skills of --reading and comprehending business-related texts --verbal communication in business context --composing business correspondence, such as emails, faxes and letters --fundamental presentations
