This course is designed to build up undergraduate students with the foundation and basic concepts of the principles and methodologies in developing and analyzing computer information systems. This class will demonstrate different system development states, including planning, analysis, design, testing, implication, and maintenance. Various software engineering analysis and design tools and techniques will be covered, including use cases, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, class diagrams, interaction diagrams and other concepts in UML.
