課程大綱 Course syllabus

海洋微體生物化石是海洋沉積物中的重要組成，並被廣泛應用於海洋地質、生物地理及沉積學等相關研究，藉由研究海洋微體化石可以幫助建立地層、重建古環境與古氣候及探討生物演化與氣候及環境變遷等議題，本課程屬專業基礎課程，建議對地球科學有基礎知識的人選修。選修本課程的人須同時選修海洋微體古生物學實習課程並參加野外地質調查。

課程目標 Objectives

1.認識海洋微體生物化石的種類及成因
2.學習影響微體生物化石保存及分布的控制機制
3.知道海洋微體生物化石的科學應用
